Anatomy of Touch – Touch Hunger

The physical sense of touch – especially touch between people – is rarely discussed in relation to mental health and wellbeing.

In the first of five podcast episodes, the BBC’s Radio 4 reports on the world’s largest study on touch. The programme makers say:

“What does touch mean to us and how has the need for touch changed because of Covid-19? Claudia Hammond reveals the BBC Touch Test results.”
